Arguably, Google Search is the most trusted and most popular search engine across the globe. Whether it is our personal needs or professional, all depend on it. We find it frustrating when the search engine performs a bit slower. The situation turns worse when it refused to show results due to internal or external factors. Restart the Google App on your phone · Open Settings on your Android phone · Navigate to Apps/Application Manager – click on Google · Go to the next screen and tap on Force stop · On the home screen, do a search through the Google app or its widget · It will restart the search service Clear the Google App cache · Open Settings · Navigate to Apps/Application Manager · Select Google and then click on Storage followed by Clear cache · The cache will be deleted from your Android device · It will happen if you use the Clear data/storage option Re-add the search widget Try to re-add the search widget if the issue is related to your search bar or the widget. Try to re-add it after you have removed the widget by holding it and drag towards the remove icon. Tap and hold on an empty space on the home screen and select Widgets from the options.
