Technology is strange sometimes and impaired printers can even be frustrating. But don’t get upset if your HP printer isn’t turning on or not printing the documents as you can fix it yourself immediately just by following some simple fixes below!!
1. Check the status of your HP printer If your device was connected with multiple printers then there’s a possibility that your HP printer isn’t set as a default printer and the print commands are going to other printer. Hence, you need to check the status of your printer in the settings. So, open the control panel on your PC and click on device and printers. Next, right click on your HP printer and choose set as a default printer option. 2. Hp printer Troubleshoot the Spooler error Print spooler service is responsible for managing and sending the print commands to the printer. Hence, if you see print spooler error while printing then press the windows button and enter administrative tools in the search bar. Then click on services, select print spooler from the list and click on stop button at the left side. Now, go to “My computer”, choose Local Disk (C) and click on Windows folder and select System 32 folder. Then go to spool and choose printers. Here, you need to delete the print commands and then re-start the Spooler service by going back on the administrative tools. 3. Update the drivers on your PC Faulty or outdated drivers prevent the printer to print the document. Hence, can update your drivers easily as follows: · Type devmgmt.msc in the run dialogue box and hit ok · Then on the Windows device manager, click on Print queues, right click on your HP printer and tap on Update driver. · Next, just wait for the update to finish and then you can easily print the documents.
